1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the HashPaper platform (a "Your Legal Indian" initiative), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Nature of Service
HashPaper provides cryptographic hashing and temporal anchoring services. We generate a SHA-256 hash of text provided by the user to establish a timestamped digital record. HashPaper is not a copyright registration authority, a patent office, or a law firm. We do not verify the originality, ownership, or legal validity of the content you submit.
3. Strict Zero-Retention & User Responsibility
HashPaper operates on a strict Zero-Retention architecture. We do not store, backup, or retain the raw text data you submit. Your data is processed in volatile memory to generate the cryptographic hash and is permanently destroyed upon completion of the transaction.
It is your sole responsibility to download and securely store the exact raw data (.txt) file provided to you. HashPaper cannot recover lost data. Without the exact raw data file, your cryptographic certificate cannot be mathematically verified in a court of law.
4. Payments and Refunds
All transactions on HashPaper (₹299 per certificate) are final. Because the cryptographic generation and ledger entry are executed instantaneously upon payment, and the digital goods (PDF and TXT files) are delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, HashPaper and its parent entity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including data loss or legal disputes. Our total liability in any matter related to a specific certificate shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific transaction (₹299).
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
