The HashPaper Protocol

Military-grade cryptography meets
volatile memory processing.

We built HashPaper on a single, uncompromising premise: third-party servers should never hold your trade secrets. Discover how our In-Memory Delivery system and SHA-256 engine protect your intellectual property without ever saving it to a hard drive.

Data Sovereignty

The Zero-Retention Lifecycle.

01

Volatile Intake

Your raw text is processed strictly in the server's RAM. It never writes to an SQL database or a solid-state drive.

02

Live Hashing

Our cryptographic engine reads the byte stream and generates the 64-character SHA-256 signature in milliseconds.

03

In-Memory Delivery

The PDF certificate and raw .txt file are generated as Base64 strings in RAM and attached directly to your email.

04

The Purge

Once the email is dispatched, the PHP session is instantly destroyed. The data ceases to exist on HashPaper servers.

The Avalanche Effect

Why SHA-256 is legally indisputable.

If a malicious actor tries to alter a single character—even just adding a blank space at the end of a document—the resulting 64-character hash completely and unpredictably changes. This makes tampering mathematically impossible to hide.

Cross-Platform Text Normalization

Windows uses \r\n for a new line, while macOS/Linux uses \n. The HashPaper engine forces all line breaks into a universal standard and strips trailing whitespaces before hashing. This guarantees your hash remains universally verifiable on any operating system, forever.

Pre-Processor
$normalized = preg_replace('/\r\n?/', "\n", $rawText);
$hash = hash('sha256', $normalized);
