Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for using HashPaper. We strive to provide a seamless intellectual property timestamping service. However, due to the nature of digital goods, our refund policy differs from physical products.

1. Nature of Digital Services

HashPaper provides instant digital certification. Once a payment is processed and a certificate is generated, the service is considered "consumed" and "delivered." Unlike a physical shirt or phone, a digital certificate cannot be "returned" to us.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

We generally do not issue refunds. However, exceptions may be made under the following Technical Failure circumstances:

• Double Charge: If your card was charged twice for a single transaction.
• Service Failure: If payment was deducted, but the system failed to generate or email the PDF certificate due to a server error.

In these specific cases, you must contact us within 7 days of the transaction.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

We cannot issue refunds for:

• User Error: Typos in the project title, name, or description. (You must purchase a new certificate to fix mistakes).
• Change of Mind: Deciding you no longer need the timestamp after purchasing it.
• Lost Files: If you lose your original file and the hash no longer matches.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a technical failure, email us at support@yourlegalindian.com with:

1. Transaction ID (from Razorpay)
2. Date of Purchase
3. Description of the technical error

We will review your request and process approved refunds back to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
